Adaptive M Suspension — ISTA Required
G30 models with Adaptive M Suspension have electronically controlled shock absorbers. After any suspension work — strut replacement, spring replacement, wheel alignment — ISTA must be used to recalibrate the damper control module. Failure to calibrate results in the suspension system defaulting to a fixed setting and the DSC (stability control) not receiving correct vehicle height data.
