Case 1: F10 520i N20 — Chain Kit + Coils (80,000 km)
F10 520i arrived with cold-start chain rattle and misfire P0301 code. ISTA confirmed chain stretch and showed oil contamination on coil 1. We replaced the full N20 chain kit and valve cover gasket, then replaced ignition coil 1 (found damaged by oil). Total RM 5,200 — one visit, two root causes resolved.
Case 2: G30 530i — EGR Cooler + Water Pump (55,000 km)
G30 530i owner reported white smoke on startup in the morning. ISTA found EGR cooler fault code + electric water pump efficiency at 55% (approaching failure). We replaced both in the same visit — EGR cooler RM 1,100, water pump RM 850. Total RM 1,950. Two weeks later the owner called to say his neighbour's G30 had overheated on the Kesas highway — same mileage, unknown pump condition.
