Replace Disc & Pads Together
Fitting new pads to a worn disc causes uneven pad contact and judder under braking. The disc has a minimum thickness stamped on its edge — if the disc is at or near minimum, always replace disc and pads together. This is especially important on the 5 Series given its heavier kerb weight — more heat is generated per braking event.
