H40 (2023+) — New Power, New Platform, New Risks
Engine: 2.4L T24A-FTS turbocharged (279hp) or 2.5L hybrid (Li-ion battery). Major upgrades: TNGA-K platform (stiffer, better handling), air suspension (optional), larger digital cockpit, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. Malaysian considerations: lower trim variants available here than Japan spec; parts are newer and may be more expensive; fewer workshops with deep H40 experience yet.
