Odyssey RC1 2.4L i-VTEC uses NGK IZFR6K-11 iridium plugs. The large 4-cylinder engine has 4 plugs. Port injection keeps the combustion chamber clean — plug life is excellent.
Replacement interval and cost
Replace every 80,000–100,000 km. Signs of worn plugs: rough idle at startup, vibration through the cabin (more noticeable in a large MPV). The 2.4L smooth 4-cylinder depends on even plug performance — a misfiring cylinder is very noticeable in an 8-seater. Cost: RM280–380 for 4 plugs including labour.
