Odyssey AC not cold? The RC1 has a tri-zone AC — front, middle and rear zones. A fault in any zone can make part of the cabin feel warm. The Odyssey's large roof area and glass surface area make it very heat-prone in Malaysian sun.
Diagnosis steps
1. Identify which zone is not cold. 2. Check refrigerant pressure. 3. Check front and rear cabin filters (Odyssey has 2 filters). 4. Check front and rear evaporators separately. 5. Check compressor output. The Odyssey AC system is more complex than a sedan — diagnosis takes longer. Full diagnosis at our workshop: RM80–140.
