Honda Odyssey Service Schedule Malaysia
Honda Odyssey RC1 2.4L and RC4 hybrid service intervals — engine oil, ATF, aircond, brakes and spark plugs. Full maintenance guide.

The Honda Odyssey RC1 (2.4L i-VTEC) and RC4 (2.0L e:HEV hybrid) have different engine configurations but share similar service philosophy — quality fluids, on-time changes, and extra attention to the sliding door mechanism.
RC1 (2.4L i-VTEC) service schedule
Engine oil (5W-30 full-synthetic, 4.4L): every 5,000–7,500 km. 6AT ATF (Honda ATF-DW1): every 40,000–60,000 km. Cabin filter: every 15,000–20,000 km. Air filter: every 20,000–30,000 km. Spark plugs (iridium, 4 plugs): every 60,000–80,000 km. Brake fluid: every 2 years. Coolant: every 3 years. Sliding door track lubrication: every service.
RC4 hybrid — additional notes
The RC4 e:HEV hybrid has a smaller petrol engine (2.0L) driving a generator, with electric motors doing most of the driving. Oil change interval can be extended slightly (7,500–10,000 km) since the petrol engine runs less under light conditions. The hybrid battery is designed for the car's lifetime but benefits from avoiding extreme heat — park in shade when possible.
