Honda Civic 1.5T oil leaks are not common on well-maintained units, but three areas are worth monitoring: the valve cover gasket, the VTEC solenoid gasket, and the turbocharger oil return line.
Common leak sources and repair cost
Valve cover gasket: oil mist around the top of the engine, burning oil smell. Repair: RM120–RM200 inc. labour. VTEC solenoid gasket: small oil weep near the solenoid on the engine block. Repair: RM80–RM150. Turbo oil return line: oil accumulation under the turbo. Repair: RM150–RM280.
