Rush 4AT uses Toyota ATF Type T-IV or ATF WS. Change every 40,000–60,000 km. Low-speed judder at 20–40 km/h usually means degraded AT fluid.
Rush 4AT Gearbox Fluid — Critical Maintenance
Rush 4-speed automatic: Toyota ATF T-IV or WS. Capacity: 7.0L full drain / 3.5L partial drain. Change every 40,000–60,000 km. The 4AT is older technology but highly durable when the ATF is kept clean. The most common cause of premature 4AT problems is running old, degraded fluid — the shift judder between 1st and 2nd gear (especially when warm) is the first sign.
