Toyota Rush 2NR-VE specification: 0W-20 full synthetic, API SP, 3.9L with filter. Toyota strongly recommends 0W-20 for the fuel efficiency targets of the 2NR-VE — using 5W-30 or 10W-30 doesn't cause immediate damage but raises fuel consumption by ~3–5% and puts more load on the VVT-i system. Change every 5,000 km in Malaysian conditions. Recommended brands: Castrol Edge 0W-20, Mobil 1 0W-20, or Toyota Genuine 0W-20.
