Rush: Toyota Super Long Life Coolant (SLLC) pink formula, capacity ~5.5L. Change every 4 years or 80,000 km. The 2NR-VE is a naturally-aspirated petrol engine — its cooling system is simpler than a diesel turbo. But coolant degradation leads to corrosion of the aluminium engine block and radiator. Never mix SLLC with green generic coolant — the incompatible inhibitor packages react and reduce protection to near zero.
