Toyota Rush A/C Not Cold — Diagnosis Guide
Rush 7-seat cabin requires more refrigerant than a sedan. Rear passenger heat is often the first sign of low gas. Full diagnosis and repair cost guide.

Rush A/C Not Cold — Common Causes
Rush A/C cooling complaints are common in KL traffic — the cabin heats up quickly when stationary and the A/C must work hard to recover. Diagnose in this order: (1) refrigerant level — low gas is the most frequent cause; (2) cabin filter — if blocked, airflow to passengers is reduced even if the evaporator is cold; (3) condenser fan — if the fan fails, the system cannot reject heat when stationary; (4) compressor clutch slipping. Refrigerant top-up: RM 80–150.
