Rush engine mounts last 80,000–100,000 km. Worn mounts cause steering wheel vibration at idle and during acceleration. Affordable to fix on a 1.5L engine.
Rush Engine Mount — VVT-i Vibration Points
Rush 2NR-VE is a smooth-running petrol engine — engine mount wear is less urgent than on a diesel Innova. However, aging rubber mounts still cause cabin vibration over time. Signs: vibration felt in gear lever and floor at idle; clunk when shifting in/out of Drive. Inspect at 100,000 km. Typical Rush has 3 mounts: front, rear, and transmission mount. Cost: RM 150–300 per mount. At our Bandar Sri Damansara workshop the job takes 2–3 hours.
