Fortuner Alternator — High Output for SUV Loads
Fortuner alternator handles the full electrical load of a 7-seat SUV — A/C, headlights, infotainment, USB chargers, rear camera. Failure symptoms: battery warning light, dimming dash and lights especially at idle, A/C weak when idling in traffic. Alternator should produce 13.8–14.5V. A diode failure causes voltage ripple that can damage the battery and electronics. Replacement: RM 700–1,400 depending on whether OEM or remanufactured.
