When buying a used Subaru XV in Malaysia, check: CVT fluid service history (shudder test during test drive), rocker cover gasket condition for oil seeps, any EyeSight calibration history (GT/GU), tyre brand and remaining depth (all four must match for AWD), service records, and a Subaru-compatible scan for fault codes. A Puspakom inspection is strongly recommended before purchase.
