BMW 3 Series Tyre Guide Malaysia — F30/G20
F30 runs 225/50 R17 or 225/45 R18. G20 runs 225/45 R18 or 245/40 R19 (M Sport). Many come with Run-Flat Tyres (RFT) — no spare. Malaysia tyre cost RM 300–700 each. Non-RFT upgrade possible with addition of tyre sealant kit.
Tyre Sizes by Variant
- F30 320i: 205/55 R16 or 225/45 R17 (M Sport)
- G20 330i: 225/45 R18 or 255/35 R19 (M Sport)
- Malaysia tyre cost: RM 280–700 per tyre
- Run-flat tyres (RFT): add RM 50–100 per tyre premium
Run-Flat Tyre Considerations
Many 3 Series M Sport models come with Run-Flat Tyres and no spare wheel. RFT can drive up to 80 km at 80 km/h after puncture. In Malaysia, replacement RFT must be the same size and load rating as the other three — mixing RFT and standard tyres is not recommended. If switching to standard tyres, purchase a spare wheel and tyre kit.
