BMW 3 Series Brake Pads Malaysia — F30/G20
3 Series front pads last 40,000–60,000 km; rear 60,000–80,000 km. BMW uses electronic brake pad wear sensors — CBS will show 'Brake Pad' warning. No EPB retraction needed on most F30; G20 with integrated EPB caliper requires ISTA.

CBS Pad Wear Sensor
The 3 Series uses a wire-type wear sensor on the front left and rear right brake pads. When the sensor touches the disc, the CBS displays a brake pad warning. Do not wait for the second warning (red) — by then the pad backing plate may be scoring the disc. Replace pads at yellow CBS warning.
