BMW 3 Series CBS Service Indicator Reset Malaysia
BMW CBS tracks oil, brake fluid, brake pads, vehicle check and front/rear brake service independently. Each counter must be reset separately after service — via ISTA or iDrive menu. Never ignore CBS warnings; ATF and spark plug counters are separate.
CBS — What It Tracks
- Engine oil: mileage + time counter
- Brake fluid: time counter (2 years)
- Brake pads: wear sensor input
- Vehicle check: annual inspection reminder
- Microfilter (cabin filter): mileage counter
How to Reset CBS
CBS can be reset via iDrive (Settings > Vehicle > Service Required) on most F30 and G20 models, or via ISTA for a more thorough reset. Each service item resets independently — do not reset all at once unless all services were completed in the same visit.
