Case 1: F30 320i N20 Cold-Start Rattle (80,000 km)
Owner noticed 3-second cold-start rattle. ISTA confirmed timing chain stretch via cam timing deviation data. We replaced the full chain kit (tensioner, guides, sprockets, chain) in the same visit plus the valve cover gasket (oil on coils found during inspection). Total: RM 4,600 — averted potential engine rebuild.
Case 2: G20 330i Electric Water Pump (55,000 km)
Customer brought G20 for routine service. ISTA water pump health check showed pump running at 60% efficiency with intermittent fault history. We replaced the pump proactively — RM 780 parts and labour. Two weeks later, the customer messaged: his colleague's G20 with the same mileage had the pump fail on the PLUS highway. A RM 780 replacement saved a RM 3,000+ recovery and engine damage repair.
