Yaris Engine Mount — Petrol and Hybrid Differences
Yaris petrol engine mounts typically last 100,000–120,000 km. The 2NR-FKE is smooth-running — mount wear is less severe than on a diesel engine. Yaris Hybrid has an additional consideration: the motor-generator vibration pattern differs from pure petrol, and when the engine cycles on/off (frequent in hybrid operation), there is a brief vibration pulse each time the engine starts. Worn mounts make this noticeable as a shudder. Inspect mounts at 80,000 km. Cost: RM 150–300 per mount.
