Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Coolant Guide Malaysia (Diesel & Petrol)
Toyota SLLC pink coolant — first change at 5 years. Diesel 1KD-FTV runs hotter than petrol; monitor coolant level and condition closely.
Change coolant every 4 years — Toyota SLLC (pink OAT). The 1GD-FTV diesel runs at higher operating temperatures than a petrol engine; correct coolant prevents liner pitting. Never dilute with tap water in Malaysia — use distilled water only.

- Coolant flush: RM 120–180 at our Bandar Sri Damansara workshop
- Use Toyota SLLC (pink) — not green conventional coolant — wrong type causes OAT/IAT mixing and gel deposits
