XV50 Camry (2AR-FE) uses 5W-30; XV70 (M20A-FKS) uses 0W-20. Full synthetic is essential in Malaysia's heat. Change intervals, costs and brand recommendations.
Using the correct engine oil grade is critical for Camry longevity. The two Camry generations use different viscosity grades — using XV50 oil in an XV70 (or vice versa) can increase fuel consumption and accelerate engine wear.
XV50 — 2AR-FE 2.5L (5W-30)
