Toyota Camry Real Repair Cases — Puchong Workshop
Real Camry repair cases from our Puchong workshop — CVT shudder resolved, A/C restoration, oil leak fix and suspension overhaul with actual costs.

Real Toyota Camry cases handled at our Puchong workshop — with actual symptoms, diagnosis, repair steps and costs. These are genuine cases, not hypothetical examples.
Case 1: XV70 CVT Shudder Below 40 km/h
Vehicle: 2020 Camry XV70 2.0, 68,000 km. Owner complained of vibration when pulling away from traffic lights. Dealer quoted RM 4,500 for 'gearbox inspection'. We drained the CVT fluid — it was dark brown, well past service life. After flushing and refilling with Toyota Genuine CVT Fluid TC (RM 320), the shudder disappeared completely. Total bill: RM 320.
Case 2: XV50 A/C Weak — Suspected Compressor
Vehicle: 2015 Camry XV50 2.5, 110,000 km. A/C blowing lukewarm, owner was quoted RM 1,200 for compressor replacement elsewhere. We checked cabin filter first — completely clogged with debris. Replaced cabin filter (RM 45), topped up refrigerant (RM 90), cleaned evaporator (RM 150). Vent temperature dropped to 9°C. Total: RM 285. Compressor was fine.
Case 3: XV50 Engine Mount Vibration
Vehicle: 2013 Camry XV50 2.5, 142,000 km. Strong vibration at idle in P and N, especially when A/C was on. Diagnosis confirmed front engine mount had collapsed (rubber core detached from housing). Replaced front and rear mounts (OEM Toyota, RM 260 parts + RM 150 labour). Vibration eliminated. Total: RM 410.
Common theme across all three cases: get a second opinion before authorising major work. A proper diagnosis first almost always reveals a simpler, cheaper fix. Our diagnostic check is RM 50–80 and is refunded if you proceed with the repair.
