Nissan Grand Livina Workshop Cases Malaysia — 4M Car Care
Real cases from our Bandar Sri Damansara workshop: (1) L11 CVT 120,000 km — owner reported shudder at low speed crawling in traffic; CVT fluid was dark brown and had never been changed; full NS-3 flush resolved shudder after 50 km test drive. (2) L10 HR16DE 95,000 km — cold start chain rattle, inspection confirmed worn tensioner; chain and tensioner kit replaced, silent on next cold start. (3) Grand Livina 100,000 km — power steering pump whine on full lock; PS fluid changed, temporary improvement; pump seal kit installed, whine eliminated. (4) 7-year-old L11 — failing A/C, cabin filter completely blocked with dust and debris causing blower strain; new cabin filter, regas, A/C back to full cold.
Grand Livina CVT Shudder Resolved — Sungai Buloh
A 2013 Grand Livina at 92,000 km came in with CVT shudder between 30–50 km/h under light throttle. Inspection showed the CVT fluid had never been changed — original factory fill, very dark and contaminated. Two-stage CVT flush (drain, partial fill NS-2, drive 10 km, drain, full refill) resolved the shudder completely. Engine oil, air filter, and cabin filter were also serviced. Owner was given a 40,000 km CVT change schedule going forward.
