L11 CVT variants: use Nissan NS-3 CVT fluid only — do not substitute with generic ATF, it will damage the CVT. Change every 40,000 km. Symptoms of neglected CVT fluid: shudder at low speed, hesitation on uphill starts, whining noise. L10 4-speed AT: use Nissan Matic Fluid J or equivalent Type T-IV ATF. AT service every 40,000 km prevents shift hesitation common on older L10 units. Never mix CVT and AT fluid types.
