Nissan Grand Livina Engine Oil Malaysia — HR16DE Guide
HR16DE 1.6L: use 5W-30 or 0W-20 fully synthetic, approximately 3.5L with filter. The HR16DE is not a turbo engine, so it is less demanding on oil quality than turbocharged variants, but using quality synthetic still extends chain life. Change every 10,000 km maximum. Older L10 units with high mileage benefit from 5W-40 to compensate for internal wear. Never use 10W-40 mineral — increases chain wear.
