Mercedes-Benz S-Class Battery Replacement Malaysia — Dual Battery System
W222/W223 S-Class uses a dual battery system (main AGM + auxiliary AGM). Both require coding. Replacing only the main battery without coding causes EQ charging faults. Costs in Malaysia.
S-Class W222/W223 has two batteries: a main AGM starter battery (in boot, right side) and an auxiliary battery for the electrical system. Both may need replacement. IBS coding is mandatory on the main battery. The auxiliary battery replacement also requires XENTRY coding.
