V167 GLE ASSYST Plus adapts service intervals to driving load and conditions. Towing or off-road driving in Malaysia triggers more frequent service. Service A and B requirements explained.
ASSYST Plus on GLE — Service A and B same as all other Mercedes. For V8 GLE, cap at 10,000 km in Malaysia. The GLE's AIRMATIC compressor run time is also monitored via XENTRY — long compressor cycles after startup indicate a developing air spring leak, even before ASSYST triggers a warning.
Mercedes ASSYST Service Indicator — Malaysia
The ASSYST Plus service indicator on modern Mercedes-Benz calculates remaining oil life based on driving conditions — not a fixed mileage. In Malaysian city driving, Service A typically appears every 10,000–13,000 km. The indicator must be reset after every service using a diagnostic tool — a simple trip reset does NOT reset ASSYST. Never ignore ASSYST warnings: a missed Service A means driving with degraded oil and a known-live timing chain tensioner concern. Items ASSYST does NOT remind you about: 9G-Tronic ATF, coolant, and some brake inspections — manage these manually.
