Mercedes-Benz GLE Engine Oil Guide Malaysia — M276/M256
W166 M276 V6 uses MB 229.5 (5W-30); V167 M256 inline-6 requires MB 229.6 (0W-20). Large SUV engines need full synthetic MB-spec oil — cutting corners on oil leads to costly turbo and chain failures.
GLE engine oil depends on engine generation and type. W166 GLE uses older specs; V167 GLE uses newer lower-viscosity specs. Confirm with build plate before every oil change.
