Mercedes-Benz GLE Battery Replacement & Coding Malaysia
GLE requires AGM battery with IBS coding. V167 GLE also has a 12V auxiliary battery for the EQ Boost mild hybrid system that needs attention. Battery types, costs and coding process in Malaysia.
GLE W166/V167 uses AGM battery in the boot. IBS coding is mandatory after replacement. V167 GLE with 48V mild hybrid (GLE 450) also has a separate high-voltage battery — this is not serviced at an independent workshop and must go to an authorised dealer.
