Mercedes-Benz CLA Computer Diagnostic Malaysia — XENTRY Scan
CLA requires XENTRY for full system diagnostics across all ECUs. Common faults: DCT adaptation warning, ABS sensor, TPMS. When to run a diagnostic and what results mean for Malaysian CLA owners.
The CLA has the same multi-ECU architecture as A-Class: 30+ ECUs across engine, 7DCT/7G-Tronic, ABS/ESP, airbag, EPS, COMAND, camera and ADAS systems. Generic OBD2 only reads 2–3 of these. XENTRY is required for full diagnosis, EPB service, IBS coding and transmission adaptations.

Always scan before committing to any repair. A fault code identifies the system; without it, diagnosis is guesswork. Particularly important for CLA C117 bought used — ADAS calibration faults, airbag faults and COMAND errors are common on older units.
