Mercedes-Benz CLA Battery Replacement Malaysia — Coding Required
CLA battery replacement requires IBS coding. Skipping this causes the charging system to incorrectly charge the new battery, shortening its life. AGM battery required, costs and brands in Malaysia.
AGM battery only — same IBS coding requirement as all W177-platform Mercedes. The CLA C118 battery is also located in the boot. C117 CLA battery is under the bonnet (right side). IBS coding is mandatory on both generations regardless of battery location.
