Case 1 — GK5 2016 with CVT shudder at 65,000 km
HMMF had never been changed. Dark, metallic-smelling fluid drained. Refilled with fresh Honda HMMF. Shudder eliminated after one drive. Cost: RM260. Owner now on 40,000 km intervals. Advised: HMMF is specific to Jazz/Fit — always verify the fluid type used.
Case 2 — GK5 2014 with engine mount vibration at 110,000 km
Owner reported vibration at idle and a knock when pulling away from stops. Inspection found all three mounts worn soft. Replaced all three mounts simultaneously (RM520 total). Vibration completely resolved. Noted: replacing worn mounts in the same visit is more cost-effective than piecemeal replacement.
