Chain rattle warning signs
Brief rattle on cold start (under 10 seconds) is normal — oil pressure is still building. Rattle that persists after warm-up, or a P0016/0017 fault code, requires a workshop inspection. Chain + tensioner replacement when needed: RM800–RM1,400 inc. labour.
