Honda CR-V Shock Absorber Replacement Malaysia
Honda CR-V RW vs RT suspension differences, shock absorber wear signs, KYB vs Monroe options and replacement costs in Malaysia.

CR-V shocks support a heavier vehicle than the Civic or HR-V. The rear multilink suspension is particularly good when new but becomes noticeably floaty after 80,000–100,000 km of Malaysian road use.
Replacement guide
Signs: body roll in corners, diving under braking, bouncing on speed bumps (the CR-V is heavier so this is more pronounced). Test: push down hard on each corner — should rebound once and stop. Replace in pairs (both fronts or both rears). Cost: RM400–700 per pair including labour. OEM-spec KYB or Sachs are our recommended replacements.
