NGK SILZKBR8D8S iridium spark plugs for the CR-V 1.5T — replacement interval, installation tips and cost in Malaysia.
The CR-V 1.5T VTEC Turbo uses NGK SILZKBR8D8S iridium plugs — the same plug as the Civic FC. All four plugs should be replaced at the same interval. Do not use copper or standard platinum plugs.
Replacement interval and cost
Replace every 60,000–80,000 km. Signs of worn plugs: rough idle, hesitation under boost, slight misfire. NGK SILZKBR8D8S are OEM-equivalent. Cost at our workshop: RM320–420 for 4 plugs including labour. Always use the correct heat range — the turbo runs hotter than NA engines.
