Honda CR-V 1.5T Oil Leak — Common Sources & Repair Cost

Honda CR-V 1.5T oil leak sources: valve cover, turbo oil return line, VTEC solenoid — diagnosis and Malaysia repair costs.

Honda CR-V 1.5T Oil Leak — Common Sources & Repair Cost

CR-V oil leaks are most commonly found at the valve cover gasket, oil drain plug, and turbo oil feed line. The turbo adds pressurised oil pathways that ordinary NA engines don't have.

Common leak sources and repair cost

Valve cover gasket (most common after 80,000 km): RM150–250 labour + gasket. Oil drain plug rethread or replacement: RM40–80. Turbo oil feed banjo bolt o-ring: RM60–120. Oil cooler line joints: RM120–200. If you see oil on the turbo housing or smell burning oil, have it inspected immediately — a leaking turbo oil line can start a fire.
