X1 Brake Pads — Simpler Than X3/X5
The F48 X1 uses conventional hydraulic calipers on all four corners — no electronic rear calipers like the G30 or G05 X5. Pad replacement does not require ISTA piston winding. At 4M Car Care, a front pad change on the X1 costs RM 200–400 including pads and labour. Front disc replacement (if worn): add RM 250–450 for a pair.
