BMW 7 Series Workshop Cases Malaysia — 4M Car Care
Real 7 Series cases: F01 730Li N52 Valvetronic motor fault — iDrive limp mode, ISTA diagnostic found actuator RM 2,200. G11 730Li air suspension compressor failed at 95,000 km — car sat low overnight, compressor RM 2,800. F01 750Li N63 oil consumption confirmed 1L per 2,000 km — turbo oil seal replacement RM 4,500. All actual Malaysia costs.

Case 1: G11 730Li — Air Suspension + Battery (95,000 km)
G11 730Li came in with 'the car sits lower on the left front corner overnight.' ISTA confirmed air supply unit fault code + left front strut slow leak (3mm height difference left vs right after 8 hours). Also found battery SOH at 64% — insufficient for the car's module load. We replaced: left front air strut (RM 2,400) + air supply unit compressor (RM 2,200) + 105Ah AGM battery (RM 820, registered via ISTA). Total: RM 5,420. Expensive but owner was relieved — car now sits level and starts reliably.
Case 2: F01 750Li N63 — Valve Cover Gaskets + Oil Level (110,000 km)
F01 750Li N63 with 110,000 km came in for a service. Owner mentioned 'oil smell in the cabin sometimes.' Inspection found both valve cover gaskets seeping (typical at this mileage on N63) and oil level 1.5L below minimum — owner had not been monitoring. We replaced both valve cover gaskets (RM 3,200 — two covers, access is complex on V8) and topped up oil. Advised owner to check oil level monthly — N63 can consume 0.5–1L per 5,000 km, which is within BMW's acceptable range but requires monitoring. Total: RM 3,200 + oil.
