Walnut Blasting in Malaysia — When and Why
Direct-injection engines like the N20/B48 (F3x) or B48/B58 (G2x) in the 4 Series cannot clean intake valves with fuel the way port-injected engines do. Carbon accumulates on the back of intake valves — typically 3–5mm thick by 80,000 km of KL city driving. Symptoms: rough idle, hesitation at low RPM, reduced fuel economy.
