B38 Oil — 0W-20 is Correct
Some owners question whether 0W-20 is too thin for Malaysia's heat. It is not — BMW LL-17 0W-20 is a full synthetic with a high viscosity index that maintains sufficient film thickness at operating temperature. The concern is mixing brands: only use oil with the BMW LL-17 stamp. Do not top up with a different brand if the level drops between services — always use the same specification.
