BMW 1 Series Brake Disc Malaysia — F20/F40
F20 front disc 312mm standard (340mm M Sport). F40 front 312mm standard. Replace disc and pads together at wear limit. Malaysia aftermarket discs RM 250–500/pair front. OEM RM 500–800/pair. 1 Series smaller brakes = lower replacement cost than 3/5 Series.

Replace Pad and Disc Together
Even on the 1 Series with its long brake life, once you replace the pads, always check disc thickness against the minimum stamp on the disc edge. Fitting new pads to a worn disc causes uneven contact and pulsation under braking. Since the 1 Series is often used for spirited driving — the whole point of a rear-wheel-drive BMW — the discs can develop heat cracks over time even if they are above minimum thickness. Inspect the disc face for radial cracks at every pad change.
