Small Cabin — Change Matters More
The 1 Series' smaller cabin concentrates PM2.5 and other airborne particles more rapidly than a larger car. A blocked cabin filter in the 1 Series makes the A/C smell musty faster — the dense airflow through a small volume forces more contact between cabin air and the filter surface. Replace at 15,000 km consistently. At RM 60–120, this is the best-value maintenance item in any BMW.
