Toyota Prius Oil Leak Guide Malaysia
Valve cover gasket and crankshaft seal are the most common Prius leak points — especially in ZVW30 models above 150,000 km.
Prius oil leaks: most common on ZVW30 (1NZ-FXE) above 100,000 km — valve cover gasket and VVT-i solenoid O-rings. ZVW50 (2ZR-FXE) is generally tighter. Both are acceptable at our Bandar Sri Damansara workshop for under RM 300.
Oil Leak Repair
- Valve cover gasket: RM 80–150 parts + RM 80–120 labour
- VVT-i solenoid O-ring: RM 20–50 parts + RM 50–80 labour
