Toyota Prius Service Schedule Malaysia (ZVW30 & ZVW50)
2ZR-FXE service intervals — engine oil, e-CVT fluid, spark plugs, inverter coolant and 12V battery schedule for both generations.
Prius service schedule is simpler than most cars think — the hybrid system's regenerative braking reduces wear on brakes significantly. But oil changes, 12V battery, and inverter coolant are critical.
Service Schedule
- Every 5,000 km: engine oil + filter (0W-20 full synthetic — do not extend)
- Every 20,000 km: air filter, cabin filter, tyre rotation, brake caliper inspection
- Every 40,000 km: brake fluid, spark plugs (iridium)
- Every 4 years: engine coolant + inverter coolant
- Every 3 years: 12V auxiliary battery check — replace proactively before failure
