Toyota Prius Carbon Cleaning Malaysia — 2ZR-FXE PFI Engine
2ZR-FXE is port injection — carbon builds slowly. Short city trips in EV mode are still fine. Only inspect if symptoms like rough idle appear.
Prius 1NZ-FXE (ZVW30) and 2ZR-FXE (ZVW50) are port-injected — carbon buildup on intake valves is minimal compared to direct injection engines. Throttle body cleaning is the main carbon service needed on Prius.

- Throttle body cleaning: RM 80–120 — do if engine idles rough when starting from cold
- Injector cleaning (chemical): RM 100–180 — improves fuel spray pattern on ZVW30 above 100,000 km
