Harrier XU80's full-length panoramic glass roof is one of its signature features — but it's also one of the most common sources of issues at our Bandar Sri Damansara workshop. The large glass panel requires specific maintenance.
Panoramic Roof Maintenance
- Drain channel cleaning every 20,000 km: RM 80–150 — blocked drains cause water ingress into the cabin and headliner damage
- Panoramic roof seal replacement: RM 300–600 — seals harden and shrink in Malaysian UV, allowing leaks above 50,000 km
- Roller blind (sunshade) mechanism: keep the track clean; spray with silicone lubricant every 20,000 km
- Panoramic roof glass seal (leak between glass and frame): RM 400–800 to reseal — do not delay, water gets into door pillars
