Hybrid-Specific Checks
- Scan for hybrid battery fault codes — P3000 series
- Battery SOH test — should be above 70% for a healthy pack
- Inverter coolant condition — should be light blue or pink, not brown or milky
Mechanical Checks
- Oil condition and level — any signs of sludge?
- CVT fluid colour — should be pinkish, not dark brown
- Brake disc condition — check for rust, scoring
- Suspension noise — drive over a speed bump slowly and listen
