A failed alternator on Avanza leads to a discharged battery within 30–60 minutes of driving. The first symptom is often an intermittently flat battery rather than a consistent warning light.
Diagnosis & Cost
Alternator output test: RM 30–50. Good alternator: 13.5–14.5V at idle. Remanufactured alternator replacement: RM 350–550 installed. OEM new: RM 550–800. Ask us to test before replacing — some battery drain issues are caused by parasitic draw, not alternator failure.
