Subaru Levorg Rocker Cover Gasket Malaysia
The CB18 boxer engine has two rocker covers, one on each bank of the horizontally-opposed cylinder layout. Rocker cover gasket seepage is a known issue that can appear with age or elevated mileage. Because boxer engine rocker covers sit on the sides of the engine rather than the top, oil can drip onto hot exhaust components, producing a burning smell. Inspection is straightforward and gasket replacement is a manageable workshop job. Both gaskets should be replaced together during one service visit to avoid a repeat job shortly after.
